I loved Kyoto in Japan. The temples are absolutely amazing, it felt like you could visit one a day and it would take a lifetime to complete them all. The whole ambience, food and people contributed to to being one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
My favourite holiday was to the Maldives, I’d love to go back with my Daughter she would love it.
I love Croatia because of the fantastic views and friendly people. Would love to take my sister – we haven’t seen each other in years so a holiday would be great for a good catch-up.

I love Lanzarote, we have had 4 family holidays there that have been absolutely perfect, the weather is great, it’s got a safe, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food and a beautiful island to explore.

Gran Canaria. The ethos of wellness with the SPAs there is tremendous, can’t wait to go back with my girlfriend Saarah.

New York City; my wife and I went there for Christmas 2007 and it was magical. We hope to take our daughter there soon.

The Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. The gardens are so beautiful and there is something for everyone, culminating in fireworks every night. The Danes are a wonderful people. I would love to go back there with my partner.

My favourite holiday destination is Sri Lanka and I would love to go there with my husband as it was our first ever holiday and it would be great to see the places we missed the first time.
Paris is my favourite place to go to because there is so much to do and the food is wonderful, I love being there with my husband, we just wander around for ages.
Walberswick, in Suffolk. It’s unspoiled and so beautiful. I’ve been holidaying there for almost 40 years.

The Lake District beautiful scenery, lovely friendly people and what’s more my husbands place of birth and being the eldest of 32 grandchildren always lots of family to visit.

I love Trinitie Sur La Mer as this is a lovely peaceful beach location with fab restaurants that are local. I like to travel there with the hubby and a few books
St Lucia, it’s so beautiful, the sunsets are amazing, people are so friendly, food was to die for, i can’t speak highly enough of it!

Tolon Greece a quite fishing town, I have been going since I was 3 and it has not changed, I know a lot of the families that live there and it feels like a home from home. The food is amazing the water is clear and the Greek nights are great fun!
I would love to go back to Rhodes with my Grandchildren. It is a beautiful place with amazing food and culture. The locals are so friendly and of course the weather was fab.
Calis Beach in Fethiye Turkey. It has the most stunning sunsets In the world and in winter the sun actually turns the colour of the sea red. You have to see it to believe it. There is 12 of us going out next week, all of my close family and we cannot wait. This will be our 10th year in a row.

Tuscany, it’s just the most beautiful place in the world. Lovely people, lovely food, laid back atmosphere. I love going there with my partner as his family are from there and, having spent most of his childhood summers there, he knows lots of little out-of-the-way hidden gems.

My favourite is Tenerife but we have never taken the children – would love to take them!

I love Turkey. The diversity of the country from beaches, historic sites, magnificent landscapes and bustling cities. There’s so many different things to experience. I always travel with my husband who also loves Turkey.

Our Last Family holiday was to Florida and took the kids my sister and me, and was amazing never travelled that far or been to America or Disney so was out of this world managed to do loads even thou it rained half the time and was a hurricane kept us locked up in room!, still managed to get loads done and see loads places just wished went for the 2 and half weeks and seen evan more but kids loved it and still talk now about it and enjoyed the rides and what they saw! Highlight was soaked on Popeye ride! x

For me nothing can beat staying in a treehouse in the rainforests of Costa Rica. You are completely immersed in the wildlife with monkeys, birds, lizards all around you.
